What does it mean qualifying: private session? Does it simply mean i won't see anyone in the server during the quali?
im comfused with the server names. email said its esports wtcc division 2. but there is only esports wtcc division 4 and its in hungary track. then there is this esport wtcc quali but the password sent to me doesnt work.
All the WTCC 2016 and even the WTCC 2017 liveries are still unlocked for me at the moment although I didn't buy most of them yet, presumably because I took part in the Nordschleife round. This means I can't buy any WTCC 2017 cars right now even if I wanted to. So it would be a good idea to reset the unlocked content for participating drivers.
@Robert Wiesenmüller I have question about this for Portimaio: - For the races, the following ruleset will be used: 2 wheels on track all the time, kerbs count as track. What precisely kerb is? Are green sides of the road count as kerb, or kerb is only red-white parts of it?
How will the rules be enforced? Will drivers' races be checked after the race? What penalties can be imposed?
It is the same as always: The stewards only check after reports. Penalties will be done in the same way as on every other track, with a range from a warning to 25 points. Race rules apply for qualifying as well.
I know that one will be unpopular with some drivers, but there will be no changes to the drop score system after the issues at Nordschleife. While it is certainly unfair for those who couldn't take part in the round, we cannot change the ruleset because it would set a precedent, meaning that as soon one person drops out of a round again because of issues related to the game, there would have to be more dropscores, potentially making the whole competition pointless. Of course I hope there will be no issues of that sort happening again. All the log files have been sent to the developers, and the track-specific memory issue has been fixed.
Hmm, I'm especially interested in qualifying here. As I understood, if someone cuts during quali, it will be (if will be spotted by someone) reported only post-race, and some amount of penalty points will be assigned. During close quali a lot of places can be gained this way, potentially more than amount of that penalty points, plus people not from the top can gamble that they will be not reported at all. There are another edge cases which I see, like is driving with half of 3rd tire off the kerb would be considered a cut, or staying within track bounds? Maybe it's better not to broadcast quali and run it with leaderboard rules, rather than randomize it's results?
I interpret it like Tennis. If it's on the line, you are in. You raise a fair point about qualifying. I will think about it.
Time Attack quali gives you two weeks to set the best time. Others like me, will do worse under the pressure of the quali session countdown clock! It's a great dynamic and interesting for viewing (and I presume the commentators) to see who will rise to the challenge and who will succumb to the pressure, or just be unlucky to make an inoportune mistake. Hi guys, where can I find the standings of the points for the second division? In "results and standings" I see only the standing of the first division and the results of the races. Thanks
