When Tom Coronel says it's tough to pass at Macau is this what he means? Racing Formula Renault in rF2 for practice for Macau.
pacific track pack would be a great idea. a couple heavyweights in suzuka & bathurst, then macau street circut &...well, generic F1 track.
Looks like a joy to look at, but a hell to drive. Well, sufficient credits have already been reserved in my Steam wallet. Mental note to myself: I need to drink more in the coming days, considering all the sweating and cursing that lies ahead....
to be fair, macau is not a track that can be compared with other tracks. i don't mind paying 5€ for it.
Wait for a sale, thats what I do when looking to upgrade my hardware, and the price of hardware is nowhere near $5
I race in a Inspiron 15R Special Edition (a 2010's Dell laptop) plugged in a 23 inch LG LCD monitor and a g27 I really want to update, but here things are very expensive (due to extreme taxation, etc). At least R3E is well optimized graphics side, so i can run in low HD @ 60fps
Looking at the linked videos, I see one big realistic performance optimization potential: just use overcast weather and remove most shadows (increase baked AO a bit...) throw in more fog and done
im under the impression they have it pretty well optimized (compared to their other tracks i mean; ie other track settings should work fine for it)
