Few, if any other, circuits around the world can claim a 60-year history using virtually the same layout, but that is precisely what Macau's Guia circuit has achieved. Since 1954, drivers have threaded their way through its precarious twists and turns, its big altitude variations and a very long main straight, making this track one of the most complete and challenging of the world. Macau is our most art-heavy track to date, with 1st tier buildings recreated as close as our technology allows. The track is more than 6-km long and leads through the heart of the city, with more than a million triangles in the scene. Despite the incredible amount of detail, we managed to optimize the track to run very smooth. The circuit is unique for its combination of motorcycle and car racing events within the same race weekend. The Macau Motorcycle GP, the Guia Race (WTCC final rounds since 2005) and the Macau Formula 3 GP are the highlights of the race weekend. Buckle up! Macau will become available this week.
Just hope my machine won't have a nervous breakdown when racing it......its huge....and guess I skip the first online sessions here, cause Tom Coronel gives us a fair warning , but I doubt everyone will listen...
I'm looking forward to the chaos at the Melco Hairpin... In testing I think I got around it twice lol. It's a blast though.
I can already see it happening in my mind....qualifying first only to screw it up and then austin-powers-ultra-blocking 23 other drivers...I can feel the panic and shame already!
For one layout? That would be really overpriced in comparison to other content they gave us -.- I bet on 299 and it would be a reasonable price.
Bathurst has only one layout, and that cost 549. And Macau just as Bathurst is a long track. Also, the cheapest tracks so far is 399. Just don't bet any money on 299, that's all.
