The RaceRoom Ranked Championship (R3C) is back for Season 2 >>>SIGN UP NOW<<< We have listened to your feedback on Season 1 of the Ranked Championship and we will introduce some changes in Season 2: More servers/drivers Rookies will have a separate race day, allowing for more drivers to race Increased capacity from 72 drivers to 420 drivers (15 servers) for Rookies Increased capacity from 72 to 240 for AM (8 servers) Increased capacity from 72 to 238 for PRO (7 servers) Registration and confirmation Registration form can now be found under Competitions Incorrect entries will receive a last chance confirmation email Increased confirmation period Race day change for AM/PRO Race for AM/PRO will take place on Thursday Stream day change Stream will take place on Thursdays The Wednesday Rookie highlights will be shown during the stream Increased race duration for AM/PRO AM will race for 30 minutes PRO will race for 60 minutes with a mandatory pitstop Broadcast for AM/PRO AM and PRO practice starts at 18:00, quali starts at 19:00, race starts at 19:10 PRO Gold Server will receive separate instructions by mail, race starts approximately 20:00 Our stream program will be expanded to include track presentations, interviews, giveaways and more! ROOKIE: F4 Rookie Cup Everyone can participate in the Rookie Series, even drivers new to the Ranked System without Reputation. Setup is fixed! AM: WTCR Trophy The AM Series is open for drivers with a Reputation of 75 or higher. PRO: GT3 Pro Series To enter the PRO Series, drivers need to have a Reputation of 80 or higher. Calendar: Registration deadlines (Rookie, AM, PRO) Rookie Schedule (F4) AM/PRO Schedule (WTCR, GT3) How to participate: Simply sign up for the upcoming round of a Series you are eligible for, by going to the Competition page and entering your details in the form. Participants will receive an Email with the server password and all necessary information before the Race. Note: You need to sign up for every new Round, not just once for the entire Championship. Your Reputation needs to match the requirement of the series at the end of the registration period (Monday, 9:00 CE(S)T). Prizes: The Top 3 of each Series will receive a RaceRoom Trophy and there are vRP prizes for the Top 10. Additionally, all drivers who compete in all rounds of the Season, will be rewarded with a vRP Bonus. For further information read the Rulebook! It will be at some point, splits separating drivers based on their rating and reputation, automatically? Or I will be in the same grid as very top and very low rating drivers if the entered the same server? Thanks
Just out of curiosity: would it be ok to sign up for multiple championships simultaneously (when the schedule allows it, obviously)? The only part I find a bit unfortunate is that the different levels are associated with different classes, I for one would love to race F4 cars as well, it's a quite different challenge from GT3 for example, but driving amongst rookies would probably be a bit unfair.
The way i understand it is you can drive all series youd like (if scheduling allows for it as you say) and there shouldnt be any problems joining the f4 races because youll still be grouped by rating
I'll have to skip this one as I'm on my summer break from sim racing but the changes are in the right direction, 60 minutes is a better race distance and the switch to thursday is also ok for me. I'll try to watch the broadcasts though!
Do you have to pick the same car for every race or you can pick different cars for different tracks? I didn't see that specified or I missed it.
