The Raceroom FB page posted some photos of the ADAC GT races at Red Bull Ring from last weekend and there are especially quite some pics of the new Lambo. Maybe fun to speculate if we might get an updated/new GT Masters 2015 pack with the Lambo and Bentley. (And maybe a GT3 spec RUF to replace the Team Schütz Porsche?) https://www.facebook.com/raceroom More here!
Fingers crossed - would love to see an updated GTM pack, hopefully it will be worked on alongside the GTR3 class updates.
Bentley probably yes(M-Sport and VAG are rather willing to give licences to companies.)Lamborghini maybe with a cash-injection by Kickstarter or something like that can be possible.
Don't you know Lamborghini is also owned by VAG ? I don't see why the licensing of Bentley should be different than Lambo or even Porsche, by the simple fact it's owned by VAG.
Makes me wonder how much the different brand rights are. We have BMW and some Mercedes. I guess different brands take different approaches to the benefits and value of licensing for games.
Of course Lambo and Bentley are both VAG owned but the difference is M-Sport who built the car and have a say in licensing.
http://www.adac-gt-masters.de/uk/autodetails-2015/lamborghini-gallardo-r-ex-1563 This Lambo is made by Reiter Engineering, perhaps they are a bit more "friendly" when it comes to licensing than Lambo itself.
M-sport can built the car, they may not have the licensing power on the Bentley brand Otherwise we should be able to drive any Porsche 911 racing version that are not officially built by Porsche (and there's a lot of them!) BTW: The Lambo is made by Reiter Engenering, not Lambo http://www.reiter-engineering.com/
What I know for sure is that to get a license for the Fiesta WRC or R5 or any Ford car M-Sport build you have to told both to Ford and Malcolm Wilson(M-Sport's founder and director for those unaware). So the same should probably be true about Bentley .
