Something I've noticed while watching some replays, is the behavior of the standard TV cam. It doesn't keep your car completely centered like before. I like it a lot and that adds to realism. I always found it a pity somehow, that the cam was following the center of gravity of the car so sterile. Even vertical movements were perfectly tracked - the car dead center. No cam guy would or even could ever do so. Looks so much more organic and "human" now. Is that track-exclusive or going to be gloabal?
AfaIk, @Anthony Monteil created them as a test of sorts. So far I've mostly read positive reactions so he might end up expanding this to more tracks, provided he finds the time to do so. Fwiw, I like it too.
correct, we might revisit some track cams if time allows but new tracks will always have that feature
With regards to the large bollards defining unseen apex's, I kinda agree that it makes sense not to lose them on contact but also rue the lack of reality. How about having our @Anthony Monteil fix the problem by adding a horrendously loud BOOM! I am more than ready to be flown to Bilster Berg and plonked in a motor to set about destroying as many mega cones as possible while Anthony records it all. Fancy a big BANG! would be something of a compromise and if loud enough, a smidge of a penalty. Of course at my age there is a very good chance I'd piss myself but then, racing is racing!
