Game loaded fine after update this afternoon. Had 4 great races in multiplayer, took a break, and during that break we had a brief power outage, which closed everything, I had left RR running as I was intending to continue. With a storm looming I decided to shut PC down, while it blew thru. This evening powered up and game loaded fine, but whenever I try to enter a race in multiplayer or single player I get a black screen. I have run integrity check thru steam and no errors. Cleared my cache. Changed from Windowed mode to full screen all to no avail. Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix? Love this game.... need my FIX... LOL Further to above, can't get replays to function either.
Maybe some settings or camera angle got messed up. Rename this folder Documents\My games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience, give it any name you want. Run the game, it will create a new one with all default settings. Probably some replay files are broken. Move them out of the replays folder.
Thank you Maskerader! I can see again.... Just have to reset up everything and seem to have lost my setups, small price to pay I suppose to be able to play again. Again many thanks! Found my setups... Not so good with the computer tonight...
