@Georg Ortner a question if you don't mind. I'm using your G27 settings for R3E and really enjoy them on all cars but the WTCC cars. I tried @Hany Alsabti setting for WTCC but it still fees like I have a huge deadzone in the middle of the wheel. Being that I'm a noob at this, what can I change to get the feeling back in the middle of the wheel for the WTCC cars? Thanks
Not sure what Hany changed.. I´m using the same settings for all cars, RWD & FWD. Can´t say i have much of a loose center. Actually really like how the WTCC cars feel. So, my suggestion is, use my settings
For me the best base settings; FFB: lower (<=75%) and Steering: higher (140%). Profile <=70% (w/TX Racing).
I dropped mine a few percent and must admit for the g27 it helped me. Felt far to jittery on initial steer....but if I lowered the lock I wouldn't get mid turn steering to my liking....odd hate messing those settings, but it certainly hepled me get into a turn better. This is on the GT2 cars thanks
Hi guys ,anybody using old momo racing wheel?Could you share your settings for this wheel? Thanks in advance!
all i can say is turn off all the canned effects (noise like engine or curbs) they can cause clipping and try and find a balance between ffb and centering spring focus on help with counter steer and don't worry about under steer as it is not as importaint (I had a old ex)
Sounds like you should play with car setup a bit also, FFB is not perfect but since using a bit of the advice on here regarding FFB settings I have managed to get quite a reasonable balance and feel, marry that to getting the car set up properly (Really need to be able to save setups S3) and there is grip a plenty! Good luck, can drive you mad!!
ok ill give you my settings when i get to a computer and their updating the server you'll have to wait a bit longer but it will be worth it https://twitter.com/Sector3studio/status/643699450590969856
Hi, I had strange behavior with the G25 too, until I created a profile for each and every simulator / driving game I own. It would give me headaches, every time I would load a different game and the steering would be, who knows where. After creating profiles, everything seemed to be fine. I believe, the "key" is the 900° steering. By default the profiler is using 200° which is making it very difficult to drive since you would have to turn the wheel several times to achieve some movement or v.s. Wait.... With 200 it would be very touchy since the game setting would relate to 200. I have set, for every driving game, the rotation to 900°. Then you can adjust within the game and hopefully achieve a setting that suits your style. Unfortunately, most people are only able to give a start point, since each individual drives differently. I would set the controller to one of the many, lets call them, templates and work your setting towards your liking.
