Is it possible to join this serie with other rookies? I would be very fun if there could be races where all drivers has the same skill
Some laps seem to exceed track limits This is the ghost for position one on the leader board. Turn 1 the car is way outside the track limit. I checked first five places all ghosts exceed track limits at turn one. My laps are always invalidated if I go anywhere near the edge of the track.
If you are pushing earlier to the outside then your lap will be Invalidated. Additionally a slight oversteer also results in an invalidate lap since your back is more outside.
Technically, that is the case. Everyone is allowed to join. And we will invite the top 144 drivers, and they will always be grouped together. So 1-24 is in server 1. 25-48 is in server 2, and so on... Of course, getting into the top 144 is still pretty hard for a rookie. Do you know the Ranked Multiplayer Mode with the Rookie servers? That might be something fun for you: https://game.raceroom.com/multiplayer-rating/
This is something I have remarked on before, but it is not that the fast guys are somehow cheating, it is more that the ghost car is not exactly positioned correctly. Try against your own ghost car & you will see that it too appears to exceed track limits in certain places.
Yes @nickh158 seems you are right. It turns out I have learned that the track is the track plus about 2meters of curb and the ghosts are not the same line as the lap was completed with.

Hi All. Has anyone noticed that the total points in the hot lap round standings is not the sum of the individual round points. Is there a formula being used this year for the total points value? Also I notice that the live round 3 results are not getting updated after setting a better lap. I know that there is about a 3 hour update window for data to update, but nothing has changed for my points in 24 hours. Just point me to a link if either of these questions are explained somewhere. Thanks. Enjoy the racing.
It's true, there is currently a bug with these standings. Unfortunately the first attempt to fix it led to some other problems, but the developers are aware and I hope soon it can be fixed.
