http://ravsim.com/2013/04/16/simbin-raceroom-racing-experience/ Quote from simbin interview: "The ISI engine is great for our type of racing game and because of that we rarely find a need to make drastic changes, for the most part we just find new and better ways of using this extremely powerful and comprehensive physics engine." Only the graphic engine and sound enigine are not same as RF2. http://imagespaceinc.com/cars.php http://imagespaceinc.com/software.php
http://www.mobygames.com/game-group/3d-engine-gmotor2 gmotor2 are graphic engine, not physics engine.
Will there be more layouts of currents tracks, like Brands Hatch GP? Why is the GT-R right hand drive, in the GT Masters it's a left hander
gmotor2/isimotor2 is a physics engine... that's why it has been used in so many other games as a base for their respective platforms. rF2 uses their newly worked on gmotor2.5, which as far as I know, is the only game in production that is currently using it. R3E I believe is using a modified gmotor2 engine much like the Race 07 series was, albeit updated and more modern. You must have mispoke when you said the gmotor is not a physics engine... but anyways, compare rF2 and R3E, they feel nothing alike. They definitely dont use the same exact engine. @theravenousbeast is absolutely right on that. That is completely off topic though and belongs in a different thread. Back on topic, there is 1 more thing I thought of that no one has mentioned yet... Will there be any sort of FFB meter included in the game? Right now, there is no way to really know how much you are clipping or if you are close to that threshold. A FFB meter (and pedal meter) much like iRacing and Assetto Corsa, which could be added to the HUD or removed if not wanted would be greatly appreciated.
Would be awesome, if you organize an official 24h race by r3e, where people can qualify on a leaderboard, and it will be streamed on your twitch.tv channel. Just finished watching 12h of bathurst, it was an awesome race! Want to see that in r3e too!
I agree... I honestly think that the MMO aspect of this game is one of its biggest potential. online championships spreaded on different servers would be awesome and I'd gladly pay for that!! (as long it doesn't turn into a monthly fee!)
Hi I found one web site are listed tracks and cars which are and will be in the game. Sea someone is interested . https://www.reddit.com/r/RRRE/new/
I can not be more agree with you. This game should enhance the MMO that indistinct from everyone else (except iRacing), I also would pay for playing in online tournaments without a subscription. Take this opportunity to remember the importance of implementing a grouping system based on a safetyrating.
Well, This is the week guys!! I prey and hope that we are to going to have many answers... IMPERATIVE: -Kick player votation button. -DEDICATED SERVER to play in private with some bitches. .... (#25 answer) the offer still stands...
I don't know if you understand the R3E concept ? You'll only join the race if you've got the track and if you've got a car in the class used. You'll download nothing.
Just short random points i would like to know. - with the release of sonoma raceway, is there a plan for a american track pack? - multiplayer lobby, why the game got 4 different lobbys? One lobby with all kind of stuff i think is much better for all players - are there plans to bring flag rules in multiplayer?
It is intended to implement a system of realistic starts?, may incur a penalty for jumping the red light?
Until S3 fixes the lobby browser issue where you cannot join a lobby unless you can see it's ping, then I doubt too many Americans will be interested in this game when they cannot even play it on-line. While I have been able to join some races and had a perfectly lag free experience (about 150 ping), there are some other servers I never have been able to join and I bought the content just so I could race in that lobby which is very frustrating.
It is, agree, but the ping issue only happened with the last build. It should be fixed....cross fingers
