Problem Game hang

Getting the game hanging a lot at the "Did you know..." loading screen, the little dots just come to a standstill and that's it! Have to ctrl, alt, delete and kill the process! Really annoying especially with the loooong start up time, waiting and then having to start all over again!
It seems to be worse and more common if I go into settings, or change a car or track, if I don't touch anything it happens less often?

 

Still happening on a daily basis!

any crash files? anything in event viewer?

 

open task manager ; start game and watch the system resources and the internet use for r3e;
give some feedback at what the usages are at the hang point and the build up to that

I give up! Still hanging, soooooo sick of this happening, after the incredibly long load times and then to have it hang 3 x times, each time having to kill the process and start all over again, I have now simply run out of time tonight
I don't know what I'm looking for in the system resources and the internet use for r3e?

 

Game start up has been taking much longer than usual for me too for the last week.

 

Same here, loading time doubled (even tripled ?) thought about an issue with my HD first but there are also reports on Steam....

 

Still got this hanging issue, seems to happen when I change car or track? Worst of all, now that I've upgraded to win10, task manager becomes unresponsive as well so I can't kill the R3e process, the only way out is to sign out of windows and restart everything! Pain in the arse!

 

Found this in event viewer but don't think it means anything....so over this!

did you try usual go to fixes like renaming raceroom folder in my documents and verifying game files via steam?

 

This is all I can find, one mentions RRRE and one Steam. Yes, have tried all the usuals, the game runs great apart from this and it's only when loading a track, doesn't matter what car or track, practice or race. It seems more likely to happen if I change something, car, track or a setting?

 

i asked for pics to not see those xml files there are other views, more friendly
also check that event id, it often points out whats wrong

Tried using a VPN but still the hang continues!

 

What is your connection? Is it wired? Do you have any other connection available for testing? (can even be a phone hooked up to a pc), check antivirs, firewalls
