At least one of the new Callaway Corvettes is already Confirmed for GTM 2016. I'm still waiting a bit for the new Roller-Corvette with Daniel Keilwitz that seems to come but a second driver is missing at the moment. In addition there might be a third C7-Vette in two selected GTM-Races + some VLN-Races, british GT and maybe in one of the SRO-Series, driven by the two american drivers Eric Curran and Boris Said.
If we can't have a Porsche due to licensing reasons (which is likely), at least a Ruf for ADAC GTM 2015 would be nice. I doubt we'll get Lamborghini due to licensing reasons, but one can hope...
Conversely, due to licensing reasons, we probably cant have a RUF in the ADAC class Since ADAC 13/14/15 is a real life series that has been licensed as such, why would the RUF appear in there since there is no RUF in the real life series? Yes, RUF is typically used as a way to have the "totally not Porsche, Porsche" appear in game, but it is also an entirely separate brand. I doubt ADAC would be happy to have a RUF appear in the game that officially represents the real world series. Of course, that is realist me... whereas optimistic and wishful me would like to see it added, even though it isnt realistic at all.
I guess you're probably right there, ah well. For the ADAC cars, I have both the ADAC and GT3 liveries for these, as I do like the idea of doing a full ADAC championship, but wanted the flexibility (and additional cars) of the GT3 class.
If it takes as long as the bentley to release... I wonder why it takes so long, the models are already done, today it's easy to import/export them from other games and edit them, can't be too hard to get the physics right, It's not the first car they do. There must be some knowledge to do it faster / better each time they release a new car.
They still released it, kinda, yet it's not buyable. Never heared of a contract that says "You can mock them with the car driven by an Ai in your game, but no no no don't let them buy the car, we don't want that" Do they have the licence or not? PCARS releases new cars every month.
AFAIK Sector3 has released 6 cars this month... And having a license doesn't necessarily means you can release whatever you want. With getting a license you accept some terms that must be fulfilled before releasing it to public. I guess that has already happend so we can see that car in AI, but it is not released to buy by the users as it was not on releaseplan, yet. We'll see what happen in the coming weeks... WTCC was released on season-start of the WTCC 2016-Season. Nordschleife was released on VLN-Season-Start... next weekend the ADAC GT-Masters-Season is about to start...
Maybe you arent aware, but SMS has had the license for some of the cars they are just now releasing since 2013/14. I think Sector3 is doing fine with releasing their content
I'm sure they want to spread out what they release a bit probably means more to there bottom line if they do.
5 months since the news but still nothing yet. It's so long, I don't understand your delays.... Could you show us the work in progress like that we can be optimistic..
No problem at all showing some WIP shot. Here's a quick update, our model is done and currently receiving textures. Below is a WIP shot of current texturing stage, some details still left to do. So yes it is progressing, we've had to start on this car a bit later than expected as we had other work coming in that took priority, sorry for that.
We have, until recently, been working on cars one by one. Now we are working on 2 models simultaneously, but stacking them all and having them wait for the others to be done would be a painful wait, also contractually you have to release the cars within certain timelines, so it will be a staggered release for sure.
