Great to see, thanks for the links - will be great if this is possible by the end of the year, but after Salzburgring then Paul Ricard and Spa it seems the quality keeps improving with each release. If that trend continues this is going to blow my mind.
Thanks for taking the time with posting the videos. By the shown material it is hard to judge what the final track will be like, since obviously plenty of trackside details, brake-indicating trackside trees and objects are missing, track texture lacks as well, and trackwalls and vegetation seem to consist of plenty of generic placeholders. What I take from the videos is that work progresses, and the track indeed gets put together. But more I do not take from it. Bringing this track to the visual standard of Spa, Macau or Salzburg still needs plenty and plenty of work on the tiny details that count so much.
It need a lot of time before the track is finish. At the spot "BrĂ¼nnchen" outside the track there is no vegetation and I miss some tarmac rubbing at some spots but the hole track is awesome and I cant wait to drive on the final Nos!
http://www.thegreenhellmovie.com/ is having a premiere during the DTM week-end at the Nuerburgring Boulevard Cinema. We are proud to say we contributed to this masterpiece in our own way, thanks to the efforts of our talented guys in the studio. @Dan Falta @Alex Hummler @Georg Ortner You can still get an invitation to the private screening on 25th September through a little raffle on FaceBook thrown by Ringkino: https://www.facebook.com/Ringkino/p....1073741828.577461242286701/1054100607956093/
Wow, iI hadn't heard of that before, wonder if it will be possible for it to be shown anywhere in the UK. Thanks for the heads up.
Since I'm almost sure it won't be picked up for release in my small town in America, I've sent emails to both Netflix and Amazon Prime asking that when it's available, it be placed on the service. Hope it does as I'd love to see it.
ha. i bet you it will america is still america... i swear the only advantage of being part of Australia would be getting movies at least before the dvd's are released over their.
Yeah it might be made available for a DVD release (which I'll gladly buy), but as far as theaters around here, I'd say not.
I also recommend this German docu of 45 minutes. The narration is in German, but the pictures speak for themselves. Much of the mood and atmosphere, the importance of the track for the people in the region, the breath of history, should come over even if you do not speak German. Its more than just a track. History became legend. Legend became myth. "If you made a driving mistake, then you flew off and into the green, and you literally dissappeared. You could only hope that somebody saw you flying off." (Niki Lauda). - There were cases where they searched for two hours for a missing car. There was much more forest in the old days.
New previews of Formula RR and Nordschleife.Nice backfire btw @whoever in charge...Also I think he is saying something about release schedules but my germans arent that strong so dont take anything for granted...
