Well, this is all for fun and if someone gets some help by using these I'm happy to assist.

Just did a multiclass race on a public server with with around 30 F2P cars. Let's put it this way - got some good practice at lapping cars both going the right and the wrong way on track.

 

Can you put me down for the Mclaren #9...cheers

Good session tonight, looks like it going to be close in the GTR3 class as long as everyone stays consistent. Should make for some decent viewing if anyone is going to be streaming a live broadcast.

 

Like in LMP2 I assume when the fast guys will pop up from their training caves . Would prefer GT3 as well but as I decided for the Chevy I will stick to it. Tyre degradation was well balanced yesterday, now I just need to find 2,5 secs per lap . Btw. after a break of one week R3E feels like a new game.

im sure you wont be the only one rella....we have several players who are on similar pace. all you can do is keep practicing and do the best you can, and dont forget that this type of racing is all about consistency and not pure speed

 

@Rella don't worry, you won't be racing alone at back. I do around 1:54.0-.5 with race pace, 1:53.5 in quali. But probably can find some more time, as i get used to P2 car, since i didn't drive any for a long time.

But I feel like Chevy DP is one of most fun and underrated cars in R3E.

Next to some others. I have to admit I almost forgot it like the whole LMP2 class as it's barely offered in multiplayer. Wanted to choose the DP already last time but took the Radical as it suffers the same ignorance. I like the sound of the DP. With the bar in the middle of the windscreen I miss sometimes the apex but will try to find a comfy setup for the long run. Damper settings are still a mystery At the end it's all about the fun.

 

Hey all, just a heads up. A practice server will be up from 8pm (UK time) tonight, only open for 2 hours (until 10pm UK time).

Tonights session will be 1 hour and 45 minutes in Qualifying with 3, 5 minute race sessions to practice starts and get a feel for grip levels in race conditions.

Finally managed to get into the 2:03's last night. (That is of course a GT3 time!) It was with (about) half-fuel but new tyres.

I've got an ok race-pace, the times not fluctuating too much between full fuel / new tyres and empty / very-worn tyres.

My race strategy is coming on nicely....

 

Server will be up for practice again tonight from 8pm UK time until 10pm, format will be, 1 hour 45 minutes of qualifying, then a 15 minute race session to get a feel for race grip/performance.

The server is open to all but after wednesday can I please ask that anyone taking part remembers to be patient with slower cars and keep it clean.
