When developing the CUPRA Leon e-Racer we were in close contact with real driver Jordi Gené who helped us fine tuning the car behavior.

He provided us with great insights on systems such as
    • Engine mapping
    • Energy recovery system
Two new features that will become available this December!

A higher engine map will result in bigger power output, but also more battery/fuel consumption.
In electric cars you can regenerate some of the energy by using the Energy Recovery Mode (S gear) and you can adjust the recovery amount in setup too.

Of course Engine mapping will not only be available for the CUPRA, but also other classes like for example GT3 and Group C.

So, we can adjust the "turbo boost" in GroupC while driving? With the next update?

    Beautiful news!

Cupra e-Racer is now my favourite car. AI can use mapping? I have seen that they only drive in S mode.

By the way, I don't know what will happen after the update, but yesterday the AI Cupra e-Racer was slower than its petrol counterparts(AI 102 GT3/Porsche GT3 CUP D. is difficult for me, AI 102 for e-Racer is normal)?

Will these new mappings effect temperatures of oil, engine and water?

I am excited about the new update and I hopefully it won't break current FFB or something. Every update comes with some kind of compromise or issue. Not just Raceroom, it's the case with all other games too.

The only licensing issue is having too shorter arms for those deep pockets.
Every manufacturer has a price, one that RR seems reluctant to pay is more the issue. The fact that Ferrari pixels cost more than Ford pixels is a strange one, no Carbon fibre, Kevlar or Magnesium, yet still a premium. If I didn't know better I'd have to say the Manufacturers are conspiring to control the market. There is always hope though, Porsche, once in the hands of EA alone but now the biggest Sim slut out there and in everything. :D

Yepp, also with the passing Covid-Season 2020 one should think that in terms of good PR they would take every opportunity/helping hand they can- specially while Simracing and Motorsport are increasingly merging.... time for a "Licence-Winter-Sale" you bunch of car manufacturers..:)
