R3E Circuits Ranked by AI Capacity

Could they be bugs ? Looks like not but Sector 3 didn't mention them on the list.

I compared the different layouts of the circuits and found some discrepancies:

• Nürburgring GP allows only 24 opponents, while Nürburgring Short and Nürburgring Sprint both allow 39 opponents
• Hockenheim National and Hockenheim Short allow only 23 opponents, while Hockenheim GP allows 33 oppponents
• Suzuka East allows only 23 opponents, while Suzuka GP allows 45 opponents

Apart from these 3 tracks, circuits with different layouts seem to be fairly consistent at the moment.

 

Where does the need for such big grids come from? It's already impossible to drive with more than 20 Ai cars in the first corner of any track and online there are like 2 active public servers.

 

@majuh I guess they only updated main layouts for higher capacity with March update. Shorter layouts of Nurburgring were updated in recent patch to allow more cars for TCOne, same for Suzuka West.

Probably more circuits, which are set to 24 now could be expanded, they would only need assign garages, pitstops and grid positions. Others could also need some work in terms of modeling/graphics. But i guess it's not high priority right now.

 

Dont know where you are geographically but i havnt seen a server list with only 2 populated servers for a long time, are you using an experience or the standard raceroom exp? Reason i ask is if you are at an experience you will only see servers that are available to\for that exp, the raceroom exp the first top left will give all the available servers for every exp.
Sorry if im way off the mark, but 2 active servers hasnt been a thing in this game for a while now! Im UK, nicely busy early evening 20-30 populated servers and lots of drivers right thru to early hours.

 

Love how the nürburgring short got updated to 40 cars but the gp circuit is still 25 max

I'll have to update this.

I did also state in the first post that alternative/short layouts may differ from the 'main' layout. Basically I couldn't be bothered to list every layout of every circuit!

I just meant it's stupid how they have done it for smaller versions of a track in this case the nürburgring and not the full layout

Yeah, this might be the case, but Mid Ohio still needs an update for TCOne.

 

As an update, almost all circuits seem to feature bigger grids now. Only Portimao still allows just 24 opponents, and there are some discrepancies with the shorter layouts of Hockenheim, Nürburgring and Chang.

 

Any chance of an update to include latest tracks?

 

Currently updating this. Added all the new circuits and revised a few older ones that have been upgraded with more pit boxes.

I've only included alternate layouts for circuits which have more than one pit lane.

too Bad bathurst only has 36 cars i hope they uptade it like 55 cars like in real life

 

Same thing with Sepang only 37 cars for this good track with multiclass cars
