I agree about the lack of roadmap, graphics, but the physics are the best out there. Nothing else feels as good and accurate as RRE. I would know, I have full 6 DOF motion rig and I can even feel extreme tyre deformation...
Thank you - but Im not that interrested Mainly because of too many reinstalls of that game because it mandatory started to crash after a while. And every time some of the config files was emtied of content
To be more exact this is what can happen if a game is programmed so some of the config files are kept open while the game are running. In rF2 it was some urgent json files that mandatory was left emtied of content when the game crashed. The files was not deleted - they were just emtied of content (= size zero). I then had to copy saved json backup files back after each crash. And you can probably guess that I got tired of this. After a few complete reinstall of rF2 this behaviour started again - so eventhough I consider myself as a patienced person then...
Likewise, I never had that problem either. That is not to say some users aren't experiencing difficulties with rFactor 2. And don't listen to those who are demotivating you memoNo1 I watch your Races every now and again.
Friends I have great news. I am officially part of S397's Content Creator Program! A hot lap with the brand new Porsche Cup Car 992 GT3 from S397 developed with Porsche and Rudy Van Buren a Porsche Carrera Cup Car Germany professional! More realistic it is only in real! This car is a real killer and not for sissies! Commentated by none other than Paul Jeffrey! #rfactor2 #simracing #porsche992gt3 #motorsportgames
Friends I have great news. I am officially part of S397's Content Creator Program! A hot lap with the new FWD runabout Astra Vauxhaull BTCC over the beautiful Donington National Park! Commentated by none other than Paul Jeffrey! #rfactor2 #simracing #porsche992gt3 #motorsportgames
please keep it up.I call it emulation for KW devs to catch up with Rf2 because honestly the last 12montsh with the S97 Sim have bene a great experience for me and sadly cant say the same with RRE lack of under the hood progress
Unfortunately. Although we know everything, KW Studios has it all. It's probably all just a question of money. The team would be completely different, if only they could. Alex, Georg and like you all are called in the team. I hope that soon the money tap is turned up more for you. But who knows, maybe there is something big going on in the background? Certainly says my gut feeling.
A hotlap with the new BOP Update of the official BTCC of S397 for rFactor2! On the road I am with FWD driven Toyota Corolla BTCC! + Free Setup!
Hotlap with the BMW M2 CS over the Sebring Johnson layout. The level of detail in the FFB is undisputedly unrivaled! Still my favorite car in rFactor2. Plus setup! This car is the advertising icon par excellence for rF2. Developed with BMW from the beginning. From the initial development from the computer to the race track. Everything in this car is in rF2. The FFB, the sound, the weight distribution, the Chassieflex, just everything about this car is round! A milestone in SimRacing and a unique story for SimRacing! #rfactor2 #motorsportgames #simracing
I agree its a great car in the Game that I enjoy more since I use now a DD wheel with high torque My complain was about the wheel getting too light in slow corners with resulting too much understeer and thus whatver Game FFB settings i was trying Even with s mid to highend belt driven wheel i owned at the time Now its much much better handling and more realistic car behavior One thing still present though is the quite high shaking under braking that i still cant resolve Open to suggestions here PS nice video
Aha, I found that comment. Took me way to long to go and test it, but here are the results. Bentley Evo, Most. Default camber is not that far from the optimal one (at least on the left side), so I used it as a baseline. All runs consisted of 8 laps (including the outlap) at x4 tyre wear. The numbers are how much of the tyre was used (not left). Camber increased by 1.2-1.3 degrees (more aggressive camber): FL/FR: 67% 51% RL/RR: 65% 54% Default camber: FL/FR: 58% 47% RL/RR: 58% 51% Camber decreased by 1.2-1.3 degrees (less aggressive camber): FL/FR: 51% 41% RL/RR: 53% 46% As you can see, increased camber results in increased tyre wear, and the more the tyre is used, the bigger the increase is, e.g. front left was wearing out 15% faster than on default camber, while rear right was wearing out only 6% faster. Your whole stint length is still limited by your most worn tyre, so basically +15% tyre wear. I'm surprised that tyre wear dropped with reduced camber. Although this reduced camber was still not as extreme to make the outer parts of the tyre heat up more than the inside. I want to test it further and see if the tyre wear starts to increase again if I go with even less camber.
Driftmode disabled! The new "black gold" from S397! The pace and the driving feel with the new tires & BOP are insane! S397 proves once again that they are the elite in SimRacing. I have never found it so easy to perfom as quickly as with this new tire. The tire tells me at any time via the FFB where and when I have reached the limit. Coupled with the new sound engine, this update harmonizes almost perfectly with the GT3. If you are looking for absolute realism and want to know how the GT3s actually drive and feel, you can't go past rF2. Hotlap with the beautiful & challenging 488 EVO GT3 on CTMP. A technically very demanding track (LaserScanned) that demanded everything from me! The new tires are just a dream! Friends just test it yourself. It's a masterpice from S307. + Free setup ofc! Aviable in the description!
