Monza Difficulty: 94 Class: Group 4 Cars: 24 Issue: AI too fast. Poorly adapted physics for the AI who have too much grip, too much acceleration and brake extremely late for a car of the late 70s. Best AI time was1:59.884 Porsche 934, all M1s were at least two seconds behind the Porsche. My time was 2:03.433, which was 4 seconds behind the leader in 20th place. Basically against the AI on this track with this class, it is pointless to race as the AI have a clear advantage when it comes to mechanical grip, acceleration and braking.
Monza Difficulty 90 Class: Group 5 Cars:26 Issue: Same as previous post on Group 4. AI too fast due to unrealistic mechanical grip/physics, when compared to the user. Difficulty 90, best time AI 1:54.938, Porsche Fabcar, I was 4 seconds slower with the Fabcar, but had no chance against the AI as they had superior grip, acceleration, braking, and did not suffer from chronic understeer as I did. Again, different physics for the AI compared to the user, when racing classic cars that don’t have ABS/TC.
I just did a DTM 2023 race at the Red Bull Ring and the AI (difficulty 101) is too slow in the first half of the track up to Schlossgold. They are too fast in the second half of the track. Spoiler: Track map
Track: Red Bull Ring Diff: 98 Class: DTM 2023 Issue: AI have extremely high levels of grip in fast turns at this difficulty level.
I have a question regarding AIA. You might think that the question is illogical, but sometimes if you don't have time, it is, at least for me, very difficult to reach previous driving levels. Let's say that there is data for the AI to know my driving level because I trained in this circuit for a championship a few months ago, but my level after some time is obviously not the same. Will the AI adapt to my current level, which is now much lower, or will I have to match my old level to be able to compete against the AI. In other words, will the ia downgrade its level?
Chang Long : AI ignores player's car on Pit Exit entering the track up to turn two cause ghost mode doesn't work correctly it seems. (Noticed with GT4 in a GT3/GT4 Multiclass Grid)
The way AAI works is, that it will look at your last 10 laptimes (only the last 10 race laps you did are saved. If it is less, than it won't be perfectly accurate) and will compare itself to those times. So if you got slower and at have 10 laps done then the AAI will adjust to that and become slower. So basically the first race you do now will have the faster ai and after that they will adapt to your new laptimes
Here are the quali times and race results Andi. Just to note, the AI were very quick in the final sector, which are all fast turns, although I could match them in the slower first sector. I tried quali again under the same conditions with the M4, and was quicker, but again final sector is where the AI are severely rapid, and have exceptional grip. Btw, diff’ 98.
Car: Mazda MX5 Cup AI skill: 98% Start position: 12th Rolling start unless otherwise specified Results screens are attached for each track layout. Watkins Glen - Grand Prix Standing start only: AI enter narrow, veer wide, then spin and wreck on lap 1 turn 1 Some sort of object on the inside of the curb at turn 1 launches cars into the air, causes wrecks Too fast on exit out of Turn 6 Watkins Glen - Grand Prix with Inner Loop Standing start: AI enter narrow, veer wide, then spin and wreck on lap 1 turn 1 Rolling start: AI go wide then spin and wreck on lap 1 turn 1 Too fast on exit out of Turn 6 Laguna Seca Braking far too early at Turn 1 Too fast on exit of Turn 5 Braking too early and very crash-prone at the final corner hairpin Mid Ohio Full Braking too early for Turn 2 Far too slow through Turn 6 (they need to go much wider on entry, then they can carry much more speed through) Braking too early (and possibly going too wide) through Turn 12
I love the AAI, but the current AAI value needs increasing by 1 or. 2, as my ten race laps are not optimal due to race traffic, thus I am always faster than the field and winning most races now, whereas before (one or two updates ago) it would be very tough to podium, but it was more enjoyable and competitive.
The ai is pretty careful when coming out of the Fuchsröhre on the new Nords with the adjusted high curb. It's a general thing with all cars like GT2, GT3, WTCR, TT RS, PCC etc.. The player can gain a lot of time there.
Brutal fighers those ai guys. 4 wide at Döttinger Höhe behind me. Not reporting any issue with that of course, but I'm so fascinated that I'd feel bad if I do not share
Car: GTR3 Skill 98% Track: Brno Starting position: 11th Type:Standing This first issue happens with every class so its not just GTR3: The AIs have much better handling and exit speed out of the final corner(14) This other issue doesnt happen with difficulties below 98: When you manage to take the lead, some AIs will make alien-style laps. Just have a look at the results I caught.. Bare also well in mind how split up the pace is ! And I also tried with the Zonda R. The AIs will make the race like the AIs do in Gran Turismo 1 after you lead the pack: Blistering pace, better handling and far too much aggression.
