Hey all fo the longest time if i tried to boot into VR its just gave a crash as below which apparently no one know what it actually means , and finally after a complete uninstall, wipe of all folders and a reinstall, it at least no longer crashes but i get this tiny view onscreen, and NOTHING in my headset. Vive / 3080ti and all other vr games no issues.
This error means the game is trying to read from a wrong or non-existent memory address. So a very broad category of errors.
I have a script that recopies my VR DX files (FSR/Foveated dxgi/d3d9/etc) each boot because game updates etc break it. i forgot that some time back I tried to get R3E to use these tools but r3e uses archaic openvr implimentation and 20 years old dx9. removed r3e from the script, copied back default files and all working now.
