I seem next to impossible to get it to change type of camera for some reason. I have the opponent cockpit enabled in settings, controlling it from a second laptop and I can change from car to car by clicking on it and if I click and hold left mousebutton the camera menu shows up but nothing happens when I try another camera. It doesnt matter what camera I try or server/cars as I tried to spectate a DTM2016 but all I get is the TV camera. I'm sure I am doing something silly wrong but I have no idea what. Any ideas what to try`? Using Chrome, IE11 doesnt seem to work at all(?)
This have been a problem for so long that we gave up all the Online Commented Races. - Camera steering - NoResults to show :-/
2/16/17 Got it and there is an improvement. The command UI window does not show any errors but the control device still has the errors...basically e is undefined. I get nothing in the control screen except the linkicon for #trackmap and the selector on the right side for the Generic, DTM or TT themes. 9/21/17 I would really like to get this working. I have had no response to this message so I will add some info. Attached I have included the webui screenshot and the device screen I get... also inclosed is the error I get on an Android device.
Ipv10 is what your currently using for internet protocol. It's what managed your IP on your computer. Go to your network property in windows and change the protocol from 10 to ipv4. You probably will have to do something at router level as well so it assigns an proper ipv4 IP. @tex_548 had the exact same problem as you. He disabled ipv10 and it fixed it but I am not sure if he did just the windows step or the router or both
Well, I guess my equipment is too old for ipv10, I have v4 with v6 and I see no way to disable v6. Thanks for your input...
You are on windows 7 ? We can get in touch if you want. we can voice chat and look over what might be causing the issue.
It's Windows 10 Pro on a Dell Inspiron 17" laptop. I5 processor and 8GB ram but and older Dell laptop. I am connected via wifi if that makes a difference. I am going to be pretty busy for a couple of days (until Monday) but here is an email for me if you want to discuss getting together dawggie01 at gmail dot com.
Wow that is very good, my question is, how to change the race overlay and customize it to my community? Is there a sftware is it programming, coding?
Updated the attachment to the OP. Most noticeable change is the addition of the Porsche manufacturer logo.
couple of suggestion -add in the guide that if you use the software on a secondary device, you have to use the ip adress of the pc where raceroom is running and not 127.0.0.1 -add some advertise about the broadcast in the loading page of raceroom... this is great, push it!
