Unlikely to ever happen, with ACO's stranglehold on Circuit de la Sarthe, and licensing issues due to the fact that Monaco takes place entirely on public roads. PC2 and AMS2 couldn't even use the name Monaco or Monte Carlo on their interpretation of the track. They had to call it Azure Circuit, located in France.
It´s called Monaco in PC3 and of course F1 franchise. If only one thing, the PC2 is still the class leader in terms of in-house track content.
Thank you for the two new tracks!! Anyway i think having Vila Real Circuit in this sim would be great for all
Better a good gameplay instead of fancy GFX. I’m a GfX lover but Pcars3 does not run very well on my system and I have by far on old slow system. ACC dito. R3E runs butter smooth. I hope they keep it that way for a long time,
Couldn't agree more about the graphics debate @Bull Shark, particularly with a chip shortage and subsequent GPU card desert that IMO will continue as long as companies continue making product to feed the cyrpto mining sector as a priority over gamers. They (developers) may be able to push the envelope of GPU capabilities but if Joe and Jane Simracer are unable to procure, or moreover, afford the hardware to take advantage of the eye candy what is the point. What has me concerned, as primarily an offline single player, is to see the enthusiasm all titles are putting into esports and less to the interests of aforementioned Joe and Jane.
This got me to revisit Race 07, to remind me how these circuits are. I am surprised how well the old thing stands up today. I had fun with it.
After watching the videos, I am super excited for both of them. Might be time to reload the VRP machine next to my rig.
Don't forget the weekly ranked events. Btw, after keeping an eye on Chris Haye's video, I wonder if the content and the FFB updates will be two separate updates or we will get them all at once? (The latter makes slightly more sense if you ask me.)
Very nice news! Brno belongs to the top 10 list of the most beautiful racetracks in Europe! Vålerbanen is also interesting as a test track ... so now we need some "water action" for the slip slide track part ;-)!
