As far as I know GT3 actually stands on the "best" physics. Or rather "The newest" one, which means Alex has already done his magic there. I can't agree more! I even thought the same of revamped GT1, but decided not to say it aloud not to startle developers from going this way There's a lot of already made, but a little bit forgotten content which can really shine as soon as it gets some additional attention from S3
the GT3 cars are far from the best physics now, Alex has learnt a lot since his work on that, GT2 are currently on what is the latest physics set.
Kinda... I'm pretty sure I read a few posts by Alex about how some things are stll not quite correct on the GT3 physics compared with the latest stuff like GT2 for example, and that a new update will eventually come. EDIT: What AlexBlob said above
Got really excited to see the GT3R cockpit sounds listed as being updated. Signed on and drove it....ugh...not much improvement for me. Diff whine still doesn't rise based upon overall speed but individual gear RPM (which is incorrect) and it just sounds very wheezy. No throaty flat six sound at all. I know this and the cup car are tough to get right, but i'm hoping this can be improved.
The dtm92 and touring classics are also being brought up to date also so everything is then on either good or very good physics. The GT3 requires you set it up in a ridiculous way so it definitely needs the attention. Especially since there is a new pack based on those physics...
@Andi Goodwin he's talking about the transmission sound which we haven't been able to record separate from the engine. To do that we'd have to record the engine revving in neutral, and the recording session I had at Falken at the Nurb 24, they obviously weren't too fond of that idea. So right now, you rev in neutral and you hear the transmission, which isn't correct.
@Gopher04 The 934 RSR is currently receiving more modifications. With the GT Masters 2018 push, we had to drop the priority on that, apologies for the inconvenience.
The advanced statistics doesn't work for the new GTM 2018 cars. Everything stays at 0 after driving both the Porsche and the Audi for some time.
Oh man, thank you so much! This seemed like such an easy fix, but was such an annoyance. Much appreciated!
It was just a mistake in the title. Should be named "half GT-Masters 2018" So...another 3 EUR for some liveries...heheh...
Correct. I think this is a good sample of what sounds good for this car. However, I will admit that if the sounds are based off the Falken car....it's pretty close to in-game right now. Just doesn't sound great to me. Maybe its the mic? I dunno. Here's the falken onboard
Same for me and the r8. Interestingly the data for most is there although having only driven the gtm r8 there so far
