It was the VLN Layout. Worked fine throughout the GP track but then it just went MIA. Would also be really nice to integrate this into the Mini HUD somehow.
I use a dash app for my tablet and delta live never worked on NOS no matter which layout. But sector delta works well on all three sectors.
Last chance VLN layout then, be right back. EDIT: Yep, reproduced it on VLN. Seems the reference gets lost as soon as you enter Nords. Thanks for reporting.
BTW: There is something wrong with the shared memory too on NOS. Normal tracks no problem. The delta rises and drops and so on.. Tested with VLN-TTRS-Leaderboard
I've noticed something else. Audi TT Cup 2016 / Zolder / Einzelevent Is that correct in the display above the numbers bars appear red slow lap time Green faster lap time
Not sure if I understand you correctly, but IMO the +0.593 in your picture is the split time (per sector), while the +0.72 is the actual Delta time.
Me too not sure if I understand you correctly, but the "split time" is the difference against the best time of all drivers (current pole) while the "time diff" is the diff against your best lap.
Hi Fanapryde, what i mean is to my Time Diff is a red background and when I'm faster he's green. That was the question. The Split Time was from few seconds before on the track so that´s right that there is a difference to the Time Diff. @nirt77, yes correct.
I see, the red/green would be the correct indicator. In some cars the digits show red/green (fluo green even) colors, no background or bar.
Just came across these displays the other night, i tend to run the compact version so didnt notice it. From skiming the forum i thought it was giving time gaps during a race! Anyway was runnning the Formula junior last night and actually found the strange green color of the background making it hard to pick out the readouts at times. Its not a solid colour but is different across the whole display!
Yes, this is the way the delta field is intended to work on this display. The bar in the background of the time consists of 20 segments, 10 green ones to the left (to indicate a faster time) and 10 red ones to the right (to indicate a slower delta). Each of these segments equals 0.1 seconds.
Note that all the new displays are multi-page displays. You have to assign a key or button to this function in the primary controller options: When you press that button/key while driving, the display will flip through its available pages. Ususally these pages are: Main page: Shows the remaining session time, current lap time, # of laps, current position, amount of fuel, damage icons. Delta page: Shows the delta to your own best lap time. Gap page: Shows the live distance to the two cars in front of and the two cars behind you. Fuel page: Shows the amount of fuel left, an estimate # of laps that amount should be good for and your current consumption in litres/lap. Tyre page: Shows the temperature and wear of all four tyres. Temperature page: Shows the temperature of the brake discs, water and oil. These may vary slightly from car to car and display to display, but in general that's how they work. So try flipping to page #3 to see the gaps to the cars ahead of and behind you.
@Christian Göpfert, there is new information when the displays are corrected? It is a pity that this is not working right now.
Yea, well... I can't give you a date, but we've received a load of fixes for testing and the big issues you guys found have been sorted. Some other fixes we're also included. I've found some new issues, but they were minor things like text sizing, colour matching, small syncing mismatches, stuff that doesn't impact the functionality and should be easy/quick to fix. So if nothing unexpected happens these fixes should be included in the next patch/hotfix, which shouldn't be that far away.
