Any word on what was in the update that I just received? Weighed in at about 1.1Gb but no announcement on it's content that I can find.

Donington is fantastic - Great job. It's one of my favourites, and it pairs really nicely with the wide range of cars here. The AI also gives a good fight, without the annoying predictability on some corners that AMS2 has.

Using 2020 DTMs here is intense.

Fully agreed ;), tho at last turn of Donington National (also with DTM 16/20) the AI totally disregards the good old race drivers rule of "Slow in, fast out" instead they go fast in and slow out, which can be annoying at times. Well as they (AI) are new to Doni I take it as typical Rookie failure :)

    Hello,
I'm bringing some life to this thread after three years perfectly (almost :D).
When you're on the Grand Prix Course and you cut the chicane, the next lap will be invalid. That is a big nuisance to me. In my opinion, not even the hairpin should be influencing the next lap, as the last corner is tight enough to make any advantage gained there void.
Is it possible to change that?

Afaik this isnt explicitly set but instead anything that comes after the spawn point for leaderboards/competitions will invalidate the following lap. So maybe reworking that system some day may be possible but a quick fix is unlikely

It's like that so you can't cut the chicane to carry more speed onto the start-finish straight.

Can you even do that or will you encounter an invisible wall when trying? (Keep in mind hes talking about the gp layout which still has the two hairpins after the chicane)

Well, yes, for the National layout this is absolutely fine. For the Grand Prix layout, it is unnecessary.

I just tested it and there's no invisible wall on the GP layout, so it's definitely necessary.
