Maybe it's just the way he drives, but the car looks slightly too stable for a formula vee/ford type of car to be honest. But let's wait and see. I'm really looking forward to driving this car.
+1 It's this twitchy and nervous behavior of those cars that makes me absolutely love the Formula Vee in Automobilista, and it doesn't look like that's the case with F-JR from that vid.. Really hope it gives the wrong impression!
How it should be driven? With H shifter without auto clutch or wheel paddles and auto clutch, or even some other way? And yes, looking forward to this car very, very much. edit: Nevermind, I have just watched video on previous page .
Do we have any idea when might be released apart from Soon ? The cockpit looks bit strange to me and nothing like a Formula Ford but as long as it does not drive like on rails !
I can tell you that the car is not that stable, especially when you drive it on tracks like Sonoma, Nordschleife or Bathurst with a lot of "ups and downs". Even on the flat Hockenheim Sprint course it took me some laps of practice to not lose the rear of my car in every second corner Definitely it does not drive like on rails!
Looks very nice. Looking forward forward to driving this little car. Particularly struck me have the skins, of the Vehicles. Could not now decide which design I would first use. See almost all very good.
Question, these kind of open wheelers are very light and bouncy, I mean, you've a very good chance to hit someone at the rear and the first 'parts' that will meet eachother, are the tires. Result ; flying formula cars all over the place. Does RaceRoom have that physics to give us that same experience in those Formula Junior cars? Video with a few examples :
