Teach me your ways of being able to use 100% brake input . Does it feel very weird in the wheel and you just choose to ignore that feeling or did you find something setup wise that helps with braking?
With the brake pressure at 80%, the right brake bias for me and the camber in the right operation window, I can now brake in a similar way I used to do before the tire model change. I needed time to adapt to the changes but I don't think I have lost performance in the end compared to before
Well now that youve brought up camber ill have to ask about that as well What do you aim for there to consider it "in the right operation window"?
Basically, when the difference between the outer temperature and inner temperature of the tire tread is close to 5° on the whole lap, you're on the right operation window for the camber.
Thats what id like to use as a rule of thumb as well but it seems to me the only way to get there is pretty much max camber (although tbf havent really tested the last couple of months but think its still the case), so is that what you do? (and in case you have some esports contacts/insights, is that something thats regularly done amongst the real fast drivers? )
Yes, I have to set the camber pretty high. Otherwise, with the default camber settings, the car is kinda all over the place. I don't know if other drivers do this but this is what I do, at least
