The selection of drivers is not optimal. Why are drivers with a rating of 2000 allowed to race on the Rookie Server? So rookies never get a chance to participate in the championship.

In the end, the rating of the drivers is almost the same on all three servers.
If you want to give rookies or AM a chance, there must be a rating cap for each server.

Otherwise all servers should be renamed to a PRO championship

I don't know. But if there are Rookie, AM and PRO servers, driver with that rating should not be Drive on an AM server. No matter if in Bronze, Silver or Gold.

You could be confusing rep and rating. Slow drivers with low rating can have excellent rep and vice versa, that´s why there are supposed to be Bronze servers for slower drivers in each class.

I guess we can only find out when the results are up as it is invitation only and the Bronze were not streamed.

The championship is a nice idea, but it was made only for PRO drivers. The rating and reputation of the winners in all servers is almost the same:

    GT3
    Gold: 2.100, 94
    Silver: 2.300, 98
    Bronze: 2.100, 96

    GT4
    Gold: 2,100, 94
    Silver: 2,100, 96
    Bronze: 1,980, 89

    Rookie
    Gold: 2,150, 90
    Silver: 1970, 83
    Bronze: 2.000, 90

So rookies will never have a chance to participate.

Defines fixed limits for each server e.g.:
    Rookie: Reputation 1500 - 1700
    GT4: Reputation 1.701 - 1900
    GT3: Reputation 1.901 - Open End

This isn't data for race winners. This is data for top 3 drivers on gold server. No wonder they're good, experienced drivers.

Rookies are able to participate. First of all, by signing up and racing on ranked servers, you are already participating in qualifications for the championship races. Second of all, there were drivers between 1600-1700 rating on BMW bronze server, which is lower than what was expected. Once there are more series (or less interest), even lower ranked drivers will be able to qualify.

So all 9 races were full? I think that's great.

That may be all. Why do the rookie servers allow drivers with a reputation of 2,000? First of all, they take the place away from rookies, and secondly, rookies have no chance to get a good ranking.

You improve your rating by beating better players. There are more than enough servers for everyone when the game is pay to play, in fact it is usually the opposite, there are always spaces, especially on non-euro servers.

Because it's only the first iteration of the ranked championships and imposing such limits creates at least a few issues that are less than desired at this point:
    1. They may have caused less than 100% participation. This proved to not be an issue, but when doing the championships for the first time, it's sensible to allow as many players as possible to participate in each series and avoid such limits.
    2. Whatever the limit would be, players will simply aim for the highest eligible ranking for their desired series instead of trying to increase them as much as possible.
    3. It's hard to gauge what ranking exactly would be fair to distinguish rookies from non-rookies. Some highly-ranked players could feel disregarded, because they still consider themselves to be rookies. On the other hand a low-ranked driver could still be pretty experienced, just slow.

I agree with the general sentiment that top drivers shouldn't take spots in rookie competitions and they should fight for top series spots instead, but it's not easy to enforce properly. I think FIA does a good job with their Bronze/Silver/Gold/Platinum category system. It needs some extra work and manual curating, but it makes sense most of the time.

On the normal ranged server it is like this. This is not the issue. I am talking about the Ranked Championship. I can't race on the Rookie ranked championship server with a rating of 1700 and a reputation of 92, because the places are given to drivers with a reputation of e.g. 2000.

For the top drivers this is great because they can race everywhere. But most of the others don't get a slot.

This could be distributed a bit fairer.

I was not taken either with a 1.690 rating, 90 reputation and 110 races.

Also, if I were allowed to race, I don't want to race against drivers who have a rating of 2000. They are 2 seconds faster per lap.
