There is also the McLaren 650S GT3 and more, but I don't see any broken promises? We better get content 100 % finished and not quite underdone.
No problem, I understand. But you have to look at when it was announced and how long it has been. Says simply nothing if one must still work for it forever. The current vehicles have already driven 2 seasons and they have already played any other game.
Rest assured all of us would like to have all the announced content rather sooner than later. But being a softwaredev myself I can tell you it simply takes time. A beta cycle here, bug correction there, into beta again and so forth. Then the cars must be accepted by the licencers and I am quite sure big car makers have more important stuff to do than review a sim car. They find a little texture that is wrong, so back into painting, testing, back to the licensor - kind like Groundhog day
When can one count with nem update? I would like to drive on raceroom the new cars, not constantly at assetto corsa, project cars etc.
There was talk about a January update, so I'd assume next week? But I doubt we will see any new GT3 cars then (except for the... well maybe... the special treat... you know... )
After the September Update in November I have learned to be patient. Now everything works fine. This shouldn`t change after the update. Therefore, a few more weeks of patience are certainly better.
S3 shouldn't have to work in silence, they let us know what is coming down the line to show they are working on new things and to give us something to look forward to. The problem here is alot of people have the real lack of patients, and the understanding what it takes to give us something new, and as in many forums there are alot of dickheads, people just need to understand we will get something new when it's done, and stop harassing and insulting the dev's.
Don't get me wrong, Watkins Glen is a great track and has hosted some Indycar races, I'm just saying it's not one of the venue's most readily associated with them. I have it down more as a sportscar track with a classic F1 period. Fortunately, Mid Ohio, Laguna Seca, Sonoma and Indy are all in already, Milwaukee is highly unlikely so the only two other 'classic' venues that spring to mind ahead of WG are Road America and Long Beach.
And there are actually quite a number of options for people who think the wait is outrageous and unbearable: 1. Make your own video game. 2. Don't play video games. 3. Buy a canoe and go hiking. Please let me know if you need more options, I have plenty.
I think raceroom has already enough great content and its no problem for me to wait. Portimao and Sachsenring... Having so much fun with these underrated tracks. And i dont think they are in other racing games. F4, GT3 and FR2. Spend many hours during the last weeks just to try different combinations. And they all feel AWESOME. Zolder+Sunset-Setting: EYEGASM So to all impatient people out there: Try do rediscover the existing content and you wont even notice that there are any waiting times.
Silverstone & Stowe (free) are now available. Enjoy! http://game.raceroom.com/store/tracks/all/silverstone-circuit
Aaaand just picked up 10000 new vRP to keep me covered for the year. Edit: GP circuit is bloody fun with the Formula Racroom 3, and I say this as someone not overly enamored with Silverstone. Well done.
