Can I just say, this game honestly has one of the most impressive looking cloud systems I've seen in a racing game a long time.
I just hope the Clouds option menu stops reverting to Random and starts to remember the last user setting, a fix for this has been missing in the latest patches.
Will be fixed when new ui. right now it will not be fixed/can't be fixed because it was basically hacked in so to say.
Thank you, glad to know even if it's a minor issue UI-wise, I'm still trying to figure why the Go Race button in Single Player>Single Event or Practice sometimes disappears (leaving a light grey overlay beneath) after entering those sections, or after making car (or at least) track changes. Some going back and forward on settings is then required for it to come back -- just waiting a bit can work too. Having -cefEnableGPU or not doesn't seem to affect behavior (also doesn't seem dxvk related). Humm, could it be backend/online related issue? Noticed that having a black screen for some time when exiting a race before the menu shows back often accompanies this.
I think the button is greyed out while the game is checking whether you own the selected content or not.
That should've happened before right at the car/track selection where you can't even select what you don't own, but it can still happen after that. And most times it won't return to normal by its own, you must do some change like the number of opponents for it to return. Doesn't really feel like expected behavior. Kinda seems all is related: both grey button, menu lag and long black screen after finishing a race before the main menu shows, due to server issues, as some often accompany the others.
+1, ive only ever really experienced the greyed out button when servers were struggling anyways, usually around update days or free access periods
Also, noticed a small bug in the current UI. If you launch the game, go to Settings>Display, and change Menu/HUD resolution to another value (has immediate visual effect), then immediately exit game, this change won't be properly saved and stay for the next launch. OTH, if one toggles FXAA twice after doing that hud resolution change, the hud res change will be properly saved for next launch. It's as if one needs to force another change in the settings for it to be properly saved from memory to a local settings file. PS: And btw, the >1080p hud resolution stutter warning still applies nowadays, even with -cefEnableGPU, and/or dxvk on top? Thanks edit: Changed "Monitor/HUD" -> "Menu/HUD", my mistake.
