    I also noticed I'm clearly faster with the Cayman without TC (level 6 in setup), and it's funnier. :)

    With cold or worn tyres it's okay to use TC. But with new or warm you're faster without.

    It’s all about engine power vs available grip. Ideal TC allows the optimal amount of slip, as having too much wheel slip reduces acceleration and lateral grip. So on a car such as the Zonda you can easily run 30+% TC, as the tires are not so sticky and the power is insane. The engine can still reach optimal slip on the rears even when TC reduces the power. While a car like the Cayman or the GT4s barely have enough power to reach optimal slip by itself, so any level of TC effectively makes your engine power out of corners lower + makes it harder to counteract understeer on exit by reducing lateral grip when slipping the rear wheels.
