This track is my favorite, both to drive in simulators and watch racing IRL. Watch racing there at least once a year, and it always happens stuff at T1. Track is as good for bikes as it is for cars too, and somehow it is almost always good weather when I'm there Thanks for this Sector3!
Wow, I'm watching Georg's Falkenberg stream back and the quality of everything in it blows me away. I've seen good AI racing in Raceroom many times, but the way they're dealing with traffic and really fighting with each other and him is amazing. The track looks superb too; always been a fan of this one since Race07 but that version had some AI flaws that limited me to online racing with it. With these flaws sorted and the AI I raved about above, can't wait to check it out.
As usual, the graphics are nice and the track is a beauty to look at. But I find it short and relatively uninspiring, unchallenging, too easy to drive. The first lap already I drove it as if I know it since 100 laps already. Tried in the Audis, and then in the classic touring cars. Definitely a bit too easy, for my taste, at least if not using cars you likely would not drive there anyway (Indycar and the likes).
I just called Falkenberg to point out the shortcomings but they do not intend to do anything about it so you have to live with the track as it is .. Seriously. Yes it was pretty easy to learn but otherwise i disagree. It's a fun little roller couster
