Made public in the 4th April 2019 update, this feature allows you to overlay any sort of webpage on top of the gameplay while allowing for mouse interactions on it.

The immediate use most players will be interested in is to combine it with all the added telemetry that was added in the same April update. See https://github.com/sector3studios/webhud for full details on our sample project : the webHUD.

But of course this isn't the only possible application and we can't wait to see what the community will create with these new possibilities. If you're a streamer, you could have your chat right on top of the game while you drive, or have Twitch controls right there at your finger tips, hook it up with the dedicated server UI to gain control over your dedicated server while driving... Many... many possibilities.

Use this thread to ask any question, discuss ideas or wishes you have.

The dash.zip file is somehow corrupted. If I click on it it doesn't download at all, if I right-click on it and say "save link as..." it downloads a file which is not unpackable by Windows or 7zip.

Edit: forget it, it's working now... ;-)

So we have to start this app all the time before we crank up R3E?
Also I have turned of everything in the games hud but still getting certain overlays appearing which clash with the new how to get rid?

Some things are impossible to remove at this point, though. But you can move all the web based elements around until all good.

Not sure which ones you can't make go away, but the ones that are not possible to remove are:

    - Flag warnings
    - Left hand side new message system

Think they merge nicely visually tbh.

Yeh have done that, yeh it's flags/messages and a pit one as you drive down the pit lane and it's in the center of screen, still be nice to get rid of them is that going to happen?? and do something with the virtual mirror like get rid of that white edge that it has all the way round it and to beable to move it where we want.

Do you need to extract the dash folder to a specific location? When I run the exe file, it just gets stuck at 'Looking for R3E process...'.
