Yes, terrific track. I was only aware of this track in the last few months thanks to a mod for another sim. Glad to see it included here for R3E. Really enjoying this.

theres a nice looking (not sure of fidelity) mod for AC of this track thats been out quite awhile. despite the good job done by the modder wrt looks i never gave it much mind bc of its sheer simplicity. but i would say here positioned in contrast to a track like sonoma its very welcome, a lot of fun. was a nice surprise as well.

Yes, that's exactly the one I was referring to. It's pretty well done for AC, as well. And, while I like AC all well and good for hot-lapping, I prefer the actual racing in R3E. Can't wait for the Gr5 cars to get released!

This track and the DTM92 Mustang with clutch and H pattern shifter may be the absolute best sim racing experience I have ever had. Unreal!

I'll have to give it a try. I currently have my shifter set for sequential.

Yes nice to see this track in r3e too.
    One question:
Will it be part of the WTCC 2014? If so, i will maybe wait to buy the howl pack than.
    Any one an idea?

Will the track be added to the European track pack? I am still short of a few tracks so I would prefer if I could get all European tracks in one pack.

You know that the AC track and the one in R3E are made by the same person (Com8), right? ;)

Ah...!? Ja da schau her, as the Austrians say.

I have driven the AC track very much, I love it. But the track is smoother there, and the elevations of the hills beside the track seem to bne steeper, slightly exaggerated. The version in R3E is more alive (trackside details), the elevations probably are closer to the real scene, and the track surfaced is more bumpy.

I love this new track, one of my favourites in R3E.

That really doesn't sound appropriate, releasing a mod to a rival sim of a track you're working on for another company!??
    Is that even allowed?
Same goes for the Paul Ricard track then I assume?

The AC conversion of the old version of the Salzburgring (released in september 2010 for rFactor) was made with permission from Alex a.k.a *Com8*.
However ....i don't care much about it, because "our" new version is much better now.

    Ah, okay.
I thought it was a conversion of the R3E track he was working on, and got curious of how the company saw that. :)

This track has incredible flow, I love it from the beginning. So far I've tested it in Capri and Mustang DTM '92, I've even raced online in Mustang, I think it will easy become one of my favourites tracks in R3E. You really have to try it if you haven't already.

Yes, you're right. Capri&Salzburgring is now officially the most sick combo available in R3E, I just can't imagine how incredible will it get with those new Gr5 cars coming.
