Shoutout to whoever chose the praga along with the two tracks that are now on the schedule, both really nice combos
Could it maybe be possible to add the info which server is currently running which track to this website https://game.raceroom.com/multiplayer-rating/1.html ? With plenty servers now running track rotations im kinda missing that info
My rating and reputation have plummeted due to unfair judging, but by improving my skills and striving to race cleanly, my results have improved. It's important not to give up and keep trying.
Ranked schedule shows the hatsune miku for the gt3 at zhuhai combo, got a little excited and went straight to the store only to find out it still cant be bought. Why you gotta tease us like that
The feature race according to the schedule should be dpi + gt3 but the server was only gt3 today. Bit of a shame as today most likely wouldve been the only real opportunity for me to take part in that race
@CaptainCoffee is the bathurst server supposed to run the daytona bop or was it forgotten to remove that?
I guess the answer will be no but could the gt1 @ silverstone historic actually use the historic version we have rather than the modern version with one slightly tweaked chicane? Would make it a much nicer combo (and might even get some more people to buy that track )
Not wrong but if its about a historically accurate gt1 silverstone race then we gotta change quite a few things around . The layout now used on the ranked server was never used by gt1 cars and only 2 of the 6 gt1 cars in game ever raced the layout that comes closest to it. In turn were missing 4 of the 6 cars that did race. So id say were already freestyling quite a bit and may as well use a circuit thats technically a bit too old
I know things arent exactly likely to change at this point and i used to be in the "disconnects need to be penalised in some way and if you drive well they probably wont end up hurting your reputation too much anyway" camp but at this point its getting pretty much impossible for me to enjoy ranked racing because of how much disconnects hurt the reputation. Itd be great if something could be done about that, maybe reduce the disconnect penalty to 1 incident point or allow for bigger reputation gains for 0 incident races or whatever else somebody can come up with. To put some numbers on this: over the past year ive done 33 ranked races. Over that time ive had 3 disconnects costing me around 8.8 reputation points overall. Ive had 4 "bad" races where what happened on (or off ) track cost me a total of 0.5 points. Ive had 26 races where i gained reputation. Over those 26 races i averaged 0.57 incident points per race and gained 6-7 reputation points overall. So id say most races im doing fairly well but because of 1 disconnect per 11 races i now have the same reputation id get with 0 disconnects but averaging almost 2 collisions per 20 minute race which just seems wrong.... End of rant
Yeah, I'd love to see some changes too. I think the most simple change for now might be removing disconnect points completely but also blocking you from gaining reputation if a disconnect happened.
Yeah that might not be too bad of an idea. Leaving early will still cause the already collected incident points to lead to a bigger loss in reputation because fewer corners have been done and if you have no incident points or only few and disconnect late youll still be penalised for the disconnect by not getting the reputation gain you wouldve gotten had you finished the race. @devs lets make this happen
With the new system, will registering for a race and not showing up have any consequences in terms of rating/rep?
Right now it doesn't (which is good with all the problems right now). But there definitly needs to be a penalty.
Although it's early days and the daily races look good, wouldn't it be more fun to have a circuit rotation at every race? For example, 2 free and 2 paid content circuits. 1 week of MX5 and Watklins can be made very long.
