You adjust the reverb in audio setting.

Will there be another update on the game before relaese so you can see it in the steam client or will it be only an activaton in the shop without game update ?

It seems that the cars have already been deployed with the last update (cars are visible in the file structure)

Anybody knows or have a specific time when it is gonna be released today ???

The 488 GT3 is nice and all, but how about that McLaren 720?

That would be switching from very outdated to outdated imo :p

Bought the Ferrari today as promised. I really hope that eventually liveries outside of DTM will come. I really want that Risi IMSA livery.

Good day, I have a curiosity, how come the Raceroom sraff almost never uses the original interior, see the Ferrari 488DISPLAY, and therefore not the same as reality ?, the Ferrari is gorgeous, but the display is not the same as the original car, like never?

some time ago they said something like it's really hard to programe huds on this engine for every car if I'm not mistaken so they using these few default ones every time

If I'm not mistaken, the current car HUDs are made in Scaleform, but a programmer who did it left the studio so there's no one who can make new ones.

Yeah, I honestly hoped that Ferrari might be anal enough about this display that somebody at S3 (actually: KW) Studios had to be forced to learn this shit, or else the car doesn't get approved by Ferrari. So I hoped we will get other displays updated eventually, once somebody knew how to do it.

I guess this is the difference between hope and reality...

But honestly I don't really care too much about the display as long as it looks at least somewhat similar to the real one, which it does in my opinion. Would have been nice though. But apart from this I really love the 488. I always liked the looks of the 488 in general (and also the 458 in this regard) and of course it looks great in RaceRoom. Sound is spot on - just like expected. I also love how it stands out a bit from the other mid-engined cars in terms of physics. You really have to be extra careful when trailbraking and downshifting. I always felt that the Audi for example was a lot more forgiving in this regard. So through all the similarities between the GT3-bunch the 488 has its own noticable characteristics.

Thanks a lot to everybody at KW Studios for this great addition to the sim! :)

I'm already looking forward to some more liveries from AF Corse or Risi Competizione for example.

Yes, absolutely cool. But sound of the Ferrari is very annoying. I think now, the other sims have overtaken Raceroom soundwise. IRacings Ferrari sounds so cool. Completely rough and badass like the real car. This here is…. I think a mixture of some other existing car sounds.

Isnt @Anthony Monteil part of the team anymore?

The 488 doesn't sound very "rough and badass" as it has a smaller turbo engine. It's the predecessor 458 with a bigger naturally aspirated engine that sounded a bit more rough.

If iRacing has it really "rough and badass" I'm afraid they are the ones who have it wrong. But I can't compare it myself, as I don't have iRacing.

    And onboard...

The 488 sounds we have in game are very much the same, from outside or onboard.

Thats not what my ears got on Nurburgring.

Compared ingame with onboard and found out that the lower tones are completely missing.
Transmission whine is good except at downshifting. This sounds very artificial.

But yes. It’s okay. Not really fantastic in my opinion but okay.
