It's - rather unimaginatively - called R2M and is very light on CPU (~0.01% in my tests) and memory usage, so if you...

Okay, so the usual argument against using the Adaptive AI (AAI), is that it takes too long to set up.
Personally, I don't agree with that, but I can see the merit of the argument.
So what if you could get someone else (in this case, me) to do the setting up for you?
It's actually pretty easy, all you have to do is use the AI Primer Tool by @pixeljetstream .

Normally, I'd do this as a video but I've just bought a new PC and I have neither webcam, mics nor OBS set up on it...
given the excellent analysis by @CheerfullyInsane in this thread https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/the-new-adaptive-ai.5013

the idea of this tool was to create a database where people just enter the laptime they do for a certain track/car combo, and a tool generates adaptive files for them that have a user defined spacing (say your medium AI level is 90, and you want AI to be 85-95 or so). That way in theory less training needs to be done by...

There's been a couple of requests coming in for us to better document the API that we provide for the users of R3E. In case you weren't already aware, the game client currently creates a block of so called shared memory when starting up, which allows other applications on your computer to read certain data that we expose through this memory block.
