Just bought the BWM pack, added in the RR store, went to steam and paid, then authorised the purchase to RR. Steam and RR show transaction:

Cars not appearing in my roster and when going to the store, shows that they are available for purchase.

How can i get a refund for a track i bought?

 

There's no such feature in the game.

 

just bought 5000 Vrp on the website and got no email confirmation or anything else but money was taken from my account

Purchased the Porsche 944 Turbo Cup a few weeks ago and now its in the "not owned" category

 

Are you sure you purchased it back then? A few weeks ago, there was a free access period. Maybe you used the car during that time without actually buying it.

 

Looks to me they have an issue when purchasing VRP as my mate just bought the biggest and again took the money and no email sent out with the code. Passed along the email but no reply

Also i never recived an email when i bought VRP either and to this day i cant make an account for there store because it says ive not verified my email but they dont send me one out. This issue needs to be addressed and fixed.

 

Guess this is not deserving a response, so I am posting here.

 

Just to further illustrate.....it clearly shows the I have purchased said pack, and the 'CARS & TRACKS INCLUDED IN THIS PACK' yet I do not have access to them.

that's how it works, that's not season pass or whatever it is called nowadays in other games
u pay for what's released at the point of purchase (with HUGE discount btw) and that's it
it isn't misleading at all and u clearly see the date when u bought it

I personally think this is one of the best monetization systems out there since it gives very good entry for new users and then if u like the game and use it daily the cost of additional content that at avg was released like once every 4 months in packs that cost like 10-15 euro each which isn't much but helps developers

it's problematic if u aren't active user and long gone like in this example but it is what it is

maybe some option to rebuying premium for half of the price or something would be cool

 

Yeah, it's not an error, it's working as designed. But I don't agree on it being one of the best, especially if you consider all the other details of how the store works. To me it's among the more fair schemes, it has its upsides, but it also has serious downsides that consistently confuse people or lead them to false conclusions. When I recommend the game to a friend and feel the need to add "but don't buy anything yet, ask me first", I understand there are some issues with it.

I don't think anything will be changed, though.

 

I am not confused, I fully understand it is working as intended.

My argument is the fact the pack says that Ive purchased it, and it states what's included in said pack.

I do not appreciate the fact that a brand new account can pay the same price I have already paid and enjoy everything minus the Fararri 296. And for me to 'catch up' on not having a rig for the last few years, would require an investment over the price of the premium pack. Making a brand new account the most sensible option.

I have no issue supporting developers. I own all the sim racing games and all of their content. You are entitled to your own opinion, so am I. My argument is not with you but with KW Studio, in the fact that older members are required to put in a much greater investment than someone with a brand new account (if you wish to enjoy all the game has to offer).

This IMO is a giant middle finger to their community. I will give KWS a little more time to respond before writing this title off completely, because there are plenty of other titles to enjoy.

 

Well i dont think they have much to say in this matter (kw studios) (feel free to contact raceroom), but this topic is not for rr pricing discussion- leave it for people who experienced purchase error/missing content or some issue with vrp

 

The pricing is on the Raceroom's side and I don't remember them giving any comments ever.

Just purchased the BMW 2024 pack on discount as I already had one of the three cars. Authorized and paid through Steam, but the pack doesn't show up in my Purchased Content and it shows I could buy the pack again (not grayed out). User profile /users/akusaarenpaa/
